from the Kanz al-Najāh wa Surūr, Shaykh ‘Abdul Hamīd Quds
Recite the following 3 times
“I testify that there is no god but Allah; I seek forgiveness from Allah; we ask you for paradise and we seek Your protection from the fire.”
then recite the following (once or three times)
O Allah you are pardoning, generous and love to pardon so pardon me.
At the time of breaking fast
Recite the following once
O Lord of Greatness, O Lord of Greatness, You are my Lord, there is no Lord except You, forgive my great sins for no one forgives great sins except the Lord of Greatness.
Reciting Sūrah Fath on the first night of Ramadan
It is recommended to read Surah Fath [Innā fatahnā Laka fathan mubīnā] on the first night of Ramdan. One may listen to it or read. Shaykh ‘Abdul Hamid Quds narrates from Khatīb al-Shirbīnī that: “One who reads surah Fath on the first night of Ramadan within the voluntary prayer with be protected for the remainder of the year.”
